Sucre Chocolate shop - New Orleans

Magazine Street in New Orleans is know as THE street to walk down as it has lovely boutique shops and cute houses and of course Sucre!!!! A must visit place if you like chocolate. They call it a luxury dessert boutique and they have everything any chocoholic could want. Hand made truffles, french macaroons (including chocolate coated caramel ones), amazing looking pastries, gelatos, hot chocolate and heaps more.......yum!!!!

August - New Orleans

John Besh is THE local star having won the 'Top 10 chefs in the US' and 'Best Chef in the Southeast'. His August restaurant does contemporary french cuisine making full use of local ingredients. Worth trying the degustation menu with matched wines. The service was spectacular and we had a great night here at August.

Bayona - New Orleans

If you look up well known New Orleans chefs, Susan Spicer's name will definately come up. She is one of the top local names and does amazing New American cuisine at the Bayona restaurant. Bayona and Susan have won numerous awards and the dining experience was a great one.
