China Doll - Sydney
Friday night and China Doll was packed again. Most of the other
restaurants on Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo had emply tables but not
China Doll. Chef Frank Shek offers modern asian dishes from across south
east asia and each dish stays true to itself. The flavours were strong
and he does not compromise on the spice either. Great meal and great
wine list and look forward to dining there again.

Prawn and bamboo shoot wantons

Chilli salt squid - the best we have ever had. Fresh and spicy

Penang curry of braised wagyu beef - amazing dish.

Jungle curry of barramundi - great flavours.

Tea smoked free range duck with tamarind and plum - very nice smoked flavour...
